Actor Clint Howard — the the voice of the Col. Hathi’s son Hathi, Jr. in Walt Disney’s 1967 classic “The Jungle Book” and the voice of Roo in 1968’s “Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day” — was born April 20, 1959 in Burbank, Calif. He is the younger brother of actor-turned-director Ron Howard. Clint appeared with Ron in the 1970 Disney live-action feature “The Wild Country,” and has been featured in many films directed by Ron, including “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and HBO’s “From the Earth to the Moon” miniseries. Clint is also remembered for his role in the television series, “Gentle Ben,” which ran from 1967-69.
