Acts 14 1 In Iconium the same thing happened. They went into the synagogue and spoke in such a way that a large number of both Yhudim and Greeks came to trust. 2 But the Yhudim who would not be persuaded stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brothers. 3 Therefore, Sha’ul and Ben-Nabba remained for a long time, speaking boldly about ADONAI, who bore witness to the message about His love and kindness by enabling them to perform signs and miracles. 4 However, the people of the city were divided, some sided with the unbelieving Yhudim, others with the Shilchim. 5 Eventually the unbelievers, both Yhudim and Gentiles, together with their leaders, made a move to mistreat the Shilchim, even to stone them; 6 but they learned of it and escaped to Lystra and Derbe, towns in Lycaonia, and to the surrounding country, 7 where they continued proclaiming the Gospel. [I find it interesting that when the masses accept the message, most dont realize that there is a possibility the message is missing some crucial information. I shared a tract for a long time called The Four Spiritual Laws. It was so cleverly assembled that nearly everyone I shared it with for nearly 40 years prayed the sinners prayer. Of course, when I realized there was no such thing as the sinners prayer and that there is no authority whatsoever for suggesting lost souls ask Yahshua into their heart, I quit using it. That said, I must point out here that everywhere the Gospel went, there were two factions; those who believed, and those who didnt. And interestingly enough, the religious faction that did not believe always sought to silence those permanently who presented the true gospel. That is still happening today right here in America, and most dont even know it.]
