Acts 19:14-17 14 Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. 15 One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” 16 Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding. 17 When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor. Watch out! If you dont have a complete assurance of having authority of Jesus Christ and power of God in you, dont go around casting out demons on people, otherwise the above can happened to you. The demons can easily bring you down or overran if your faith is lukewarmness. When I was in South Sudan teaching, preaching, baptizing and casting out the demons on people I had full assurance that the Lord has gave me full authority and wanted me to do it. This assurance came by revelation in a dream and being filled with Holy Spirit. I also have intercessors in the U.S.A., in Kenya, and in Juba, South Sudan. It was only in the beginning, that I had few spiritual attacks in dreams at night when I am sleeping, but at the end I had victory. Another attacks was a car accident, and financial troubles. As you know the enemy attacks Christians in three ways (1) financially, (2) Through your love one (spouse) or children, and (3) Your health. These are three ways or areas that enemy attacks you and if you stay faithful, you will at the end have a victory through Jesus Christ. When my car overturned, God didnt allow the enemy to break my borne but protected me. And I was also blessed by a friend to restore my car. Thank God I didnt get sick and I give Him a praise and glory. A very interesting story happened in August 2012 when I was in Logos, Nigeria. A pastor was walking in the market place and when he reached city square, he saw a madman sitting there naked. The pastor told himself, let me put Gods power in me on a test! He then walked to the madman and asked him if he can pray for him? The madman didnt say a word but pastor went on and laid his hands on him and prayed for a man. After he finished praying, instead of leaving he stripped himself naked, the demons from the possessed-man were immediately transferred to pastor and the pastor lost his mind and joined a naked madman in company, and the bystanders were shocked to see such a things happening in front of their very eyes. What this teaches us, is that to be careful and make user we have a full authority and power of Christ to exercise it on others. There are a lot of demons that can overpowered you a cause a huge problem that you will not get out of it. You dont just be a christian today or have a faith of lukewarmness and go out there laying your hands on people, it might backfired back itself. Especially when you are in places with a lot of witchcraft and those strong demons. May God bless your understanding.
