In the above scripture apostle was speaking to the brethren here, and he began to tell them that men would arise for their sakes and the reason is that they would want to draw disciples after them. Every man would always need people to follow him. Their aim or objectives is to pull men to themselves. In vs 32, the apostle used a significant word, NOW, what does that mean? If there is a now then there must have been a then. What these people may have been depending on may not be the right things to give them an inheritance among other saints. So he said, henceforth, I commend(hand over) you to God and the WORD of His GRACE. Why to God and the word of his grace? Its because God is a gracious God. And it is grace that can keep them from falling into the wrong hands and can give them inheritance among the sanctified. Not until the Church come to understand that the only message that can keep the Church is the message of God. In chapter 26:18, when Paul was speaking about his conversion he made mention of it again, but this time clearer. To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. The truth is that the message of grace is to open the eyes and to turn men from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God and men receiving forgiveness of sins and when sins are forgiven then men would have inheritance with other saints. Let every darkness receive light today and every sin be forgiven in the name of Jesus(grace himself). Watch out for my next post of Yochanan(the Hebrew name for John) and his father blindness.
