Acts 27: 9-11 Paul sails for Rome "Since much time had passed, and the voyage was now dangerous because even the Fast was already over, Paul advised them, saying, "Sirs, I perceive that the voyage will be with injury and much loss, not only of the cargo and the ship, but also of our lives.". But the centurion paid more attention to the pilot and to the owner of the ship than to what Paul said." THE DECISION BEFORE THE STORM Who are you listening to? Have you yoked yourself with a unbeliever or have you sought Godly wisdom from a fellow brother/sister in Christ? It makes a difference church and even down to everyday decisions. Storms in our lives are self caused, inflicted by others or God sent. We can only control the self caused storms in our lives by seeking wisdom from The Lord through the study of his Word, through prayer and the wisdom of Godly counsel. This week as you make decisions, if you feel like they are always ending in a storm or turmoil, think on how you made it. Did you seek The Lord, in prayer? Did you study the Word? Did you ask a fellow Christian? My prayer for you is that you will lean more on Christ and his peace that passes all understanding. Lean not on your own understanding church. See you tomorrow!
