Adam is all smiles this morning... His neurologist took ill and so will see him on Wednesday... Guess who scored a day home from school with Mom and Dad... :-) I Love this child who speaks to me in so many ways... The fact that he is non verbal, has helped me to see beyond words which in reality rarely hold much depth... and taught me to look deeper. With Adam I see light... which sadly, I dont see too often elsewhere. With my boy, I see a smile that sparkles in his eyes... I love people who smile that way... It shows sincerity... Too many folk smile with expressionless eyes... They seldom earn my trust. Ive learned the Blessed power of Silence, using my voice only when needed or where it is heard. I speak less these days... What a revelation. Lesson number???? Just because youre giving doesnt mean people will take with any Gratitude... and just because people are taking... doesnt mean that you need to keep giving... We gravitate toward where we feel loved and validated... To me that means family... Silent, smiling me... feeling that awesome feeling of simple Acceptance... Thank you silent, smiling Adam...x
