Additional update on the Rim Fire south and east of Groveland. We have had plenty of inquiries here at the camp about the fire. As of this moment, as the picture below shows...the only affect upon the camp has bee the smoke that covers us in the night and lifts around noon. We have been in contact with the Sheriffs office for the most accurate and current reports. Right now the fire appears to be moving in primarily a south-east direction (away from us) but that, of course, is subject to change. There is no change in our camps scheduling in the foreseeable future due to the fire. Please be in prayer not just for Silver Spur but also for those in the fires path south of us, including one camp...Camp Tawonga, very near the fires path.
