Adeniran Taiwo Olugbenga said: @Ify, u talked abt military days as if it was a palatable experience in d history of Nigeria. If ua so sure abt ur postulations abt d military man coming back in agbada all in d name of Democratic rule; why then did Nigerians both old & young...d CSOs e.t.c. kicked against d adoption of late general abacha as a concensus presidential candidate by d then 5 political parties? Dont 4get dat, even obj attested to d fact dat once a soldier always a soldier....After all if had successfully emerges going by wat u said..shebi, its all democracy. I wonder hw to measure d newly rebranded personality of his? Secondly, u & I know dat d institutions setup & saddled with d responsibility of fighting corruption by d obj administration were just more or less a makeover arrangement to save d face of country at d international level. Pls dont 4get it wasnt bcos of d stolen govt treasury but d activities of some individual Nigerians (dat was d year yahoo yahoo hit d highest scourge & naija youth were d top striker) it was d fight against dis dat motivated d whole anti corruption crusade. Cos corruption as been in our system ever since & looters av been on d rampage even right from our independence. Therefore dis anti graft makeover institutions were used then by d govt of day to further entrench their dictatorial capacities & exploit. Dont 4get d selective prosecution of d less favored of govt of d day....(perhaps u need a quick reminder). Now ua telling me dat ull not judge Pa. GMB by his choice of method while he was d head of state; even if it involves killing Nigerian youth for a crime dat carries a much lesser penalty, killing & jailing innocent people for no just course. Perhaps u av 4gotten or did not read abt his entrapment decrees during his days (oh! I 4got na military era). But do u realize u & I can now openly criticize d govt with d fear of shishi or killer squad lead by Tunde Idiagbon....... Its quite unfortunate dat as a country we have to had a fair share of virus rocking d Arab world in d middle east. I sincerely sympathize wit d victims. An adage common to us says if d death from ones household doesnt kill one, it will be very difficult for d external one to av it way. Terrorism is a virus just like d so called HIV or cancer; d cure is yet to be discovered 4 possible total eradication. Even d united state govt cant boast of knowing d sponsors of al-qeda or even d ISIS d two notable terrorist organizations, therefore naijas case cannot be regarded as an exception. Dis virus is eating deep into our peace & sanity but unfortunately d solution to d epidemic isnt apportioning blames on anyone or govt rather I will advocate for a collective mass actions which is patriotic & genuine to sincerely save our country 4m d outbreak. But @ify, if ua not still satisfy with my position on dis - u can challenge me further on why d present leadership shud not be crucified 4 dis global virus.
