Admin, Can I offer a suggestion re the snake post? Just my two cents worth. How about creating a new post, with the information and photos, and contact details for ALL the registered snake catchers on the coast as well as any other authority who could be notified, and then we could all share that post around. That way its not ad ad, but just a public service notice. That should eliminate all complaints about the post seeming like an advertisement or scam, while still being easily accessible and shareable to make sure everyone is aware of the danger.
