Admin. Helpful comments only please Inbox Hi pp please. Does anyone know what my rights are? Im married and been with my husband 3 years. Weve been married since April. Current house we live in we have been here since last august. My husband is the council tenant- Im down as living here but Im not a tenant. we arent getting on as Im fed up of him drinking. He just stays in all the time. he doesnt work and fed up of it. I may as well be a single mum as I do everything myself and take the kids out by myself- we gave a 2.5 yr old and a 7 wk old. if we split up will the council kick me out or is there anyway I can get the house over him? As Ive spent hundreds decorating it and dont see why I should leave when Ive lived here just as long. he is a rubbish dad and does nothing for the kids. He has angry outbursts and Im sick of the kids being around him. Im always in edge or in tears and its no life. I cant rent myself straightaway as Ive no spare cash to afford first months rent and deposit. I cant stay with anyone else as not much family or friends. just wondered what my rights were with regards to this house. Thanks Kelly
