Admin Katey here....i had my sweet boy Cole Joseph Stagg on Christmas morning :). A little birth story My scheduled csection was for Decemeber 26th at 7:30am. So our plan was to open presents at our house and pack everything for us and our older 2 kids and go to my sister n laws where we would have Christmas dinner and stay the night (they lived closer to the city our hospital was). On Christmas Eve i was wrapping presants and sitting on the floor...i was in pain especially in my back but i didnt think anything. Around 5am my husbands alarm went off to get up and wrap 2 more presants. At 6am i finally get up off the couch. And my pants soak and the floor under me was soak. Lol water broke....lol so i call my parents and get them over here...we wake the kids up, open presants, and pack....2 hours later we head to the hospital...contractions 5mins apart and painful...drop kids off with family and get to the hospital and contractions were 2mins apart. Waters indeed broke....admitted at 2cm...call birth photographer and ob schedules my csection for 2hrs from then...nurse checks me one more time bcus the pain i was in and she runs out the room....ob comes back and says ok csection in 10mins no wait...i was 8cms. Had our boy at 10:20am He weighed 8lbs 15oz 21inches long!!!
