Adoptable of the day is Oliver. He has completely won my heart and I am just smitten with this sweet little guy. Oliver came to us from the AWL last week as he was very shy and afraid in the shelter. Whilst he is shy and nervous in new surroundings and by new experiences (like having his photo taken, can you tell?) once he gets to know you, you meet the real Oliver. The real Oliver is mischievous, playful and so affectionate. The first few days with Oliver were spent rubbing his head and talking to him softly and assuring him that he was safe and loved. Now, we play games, he runs circles around me, barks and chases my feet and leaps in my arms! This is an incredibly spirited and cheeky little dog tucked away in a frightened shell. I cant wait to see how he goes as he continues to come out of his shell! Miniature Fox Terriers are such beautiful dogs, and this boy is particularly special! - Carrie
