Adrianne Palicki plays Bobbi Morse on tonights Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. When I saw her, I thought two things: 1) Isnt that Lady Sif?* Sif is actually played by Jaimie Alexander, but they look strikingly like one another at first glance (this will change when she goes back to being blonde in the show.) But maybe that also just goes to casting looking for women with similar popular features too. *Note: Direct comparison below shows notable differences. For me it seemed to be in the eyes/makeup before I looked at the two faces side-by-side. 2) Shed make a great Wonder Woman too (then, come to find out, she already did... briefly.) At 511, she would be as tall (or taller) as Henry Cavill if she were in heels (Gal Gadot is 59.) Still, its rather interesting/cool to see the team grow. SURE, it means that less focus is put onto characters, but maybe this will allow for some movement of whos on each mission, who gets to live/die, leave the series, etc. that other shows havent had the opportunity to do before. Its going to come at a price that we dont get to become intimately familiar with characters like we do on NCIS, or other shows, but maybe its calculated, or maybe it has to do with future stories where these folks will move on to other groups/organizations/movies/etc., tying us into more of the MCU in other mediums like TV shows, cartoons, comics, etc.. Im still waiting for the mention of Alpha Flight. ;) (Yes, most of Alpha Flight has characters that Fox has the rights to, but Big Hero 6 is an Alpha Flight spin-off [though not a direct MCU continuity movie], but at least it and the use of characters that are mutants in Fox, but arent called mutants in the MCU can still exist, apparently, in Disney/Marvel movies...) Well, that was a bit of a tangent. Anyways, hooray for another tall butt-kicking female character for AoS. :D
