Advancing age does have benefits. (A few anyway!) After finishing breakfast at The Mill restaurant, I was in no hurry to leave so I sat there relaxing and engaging in a little bit of one of my favorite activities, people-watching. A young dad was in a booth near me with his two very young children. (A boy and a girl). The little blond-haired blue-eyed girl, (looked to be about 4), was facing me as she bounced up & down in the booth while eating. (This type of energy should be reserved for us older folk who really need it!). Anyway, after they finished eating, they all stood up and dad slipped on his jacket while the little boy successfully did the same. The little girl grabbed her little pink jacket, slipped one arm in and began turning in a circle attempting to get the other arm in. Eventually, dad seeing her predicament, took the other arm of her jacket and helped her finish the task. I couldnt help but wonder how long it would be until this pretty little lady would never have to worry about putting her own jacket on again.
