Advice needed :( My just turned three year old is an absolute angel everywhere, in the yard, school, main roads, country lanes the lot. But when it comes to turning out or bringing in from the field he is a nightmare! He jogs all the way on top of you, if you hold him back he prances and throws his legs around in temper. I have to have someone else with me to do the gates or its just impossible because hell put his head down at gates and drag you to graze. I am loosing confidence leading him to the field. He has never been like this before and it is just not improving. I am not going to even consider using a chifney. But i have been debating a dually halter. Any advice would be great, so far ive tried stopping him and leading him off again but he has such a short fuse at times he gets worse! Today I tried a stallion chain but that piddled him off even more causing him to turn in on me and prat around. He is perfect to lead and do anything with everywhere else. It is just the field!
