Email with small problems or concerns. make a time to meet for larger issues as face to face communication is usually better than email, since email lacks tone and expression and can easily be misunderstood. Take notes during your meeting and email them back to the teacher or school to make sure that you understood each other. Include an action list for yourself and for others at the meeting so that you can follow up later. Keep these in a file in case you need them later.
