Position: Force Protection Officer - KBOSSS Position Description Summary: AEGIS, LLC, a leading international provider of security services is seeking qualified Force Protection Officers (FPO). The FPO will provide armed static security services to the US Government on a daily basis. The FPO shall, in conjunction with military personnel and emergency responders, respond with qualified personnel to all calls for security, law enforcement, auto accidents, all mutual aid requests, and other related incidents. The Force Protection Officer shall be armed with M9 and M16/M4 weapon systems. The FPO provides security services at Entry Check Points (ECP’s), Guard Towers, and various Guard Posts throughout the Facility. Minimum Qualifications: · US Citizen. · Required to be at least 21 years of age. · Must hold active DOD Secret Clearance or must have the ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance. · One (1) year of civilian or military security guard or police experience, or military operational experience, within the past 3 years prior to beginning duties under this contract. · Able to lift 30 pounds or more. · Must pass medical examination to include vision and hearing tests. · Pass physical examination, meet U.S. Army height and weight standards, and pass physical fitness test.
