Afetre an eventful week of fixing up problems with the 23 racer from the week before at lismore which netted a DNF in the feature due to a broken wheel Trapp Racing ventured to the Speedbowl for another Hit out, First Heat started 8 and only did 2 lap and broke the drive shaft bolts on the RH half shaft in the Diff no doubt a residue effect from the issues the week before, So back to the pits with The Help Of Brooke Topp we changed out another axle to start out Pole in the next heat, ended up finishing first with Nathan Macdonald hot on our heals , back off during the race due to the bumps and the car bottoming out the suspension on the RHR , started out of 5 for the top 8 dash after a few changes in set up with heavier spring and shock settings first lap hit a hole in the track in turn 3 and we new we were in trouble straight away with the cars handing going off instantly finished 8th with an ill handling car back to the pits and found the RHF shock bent badley. Changed the shock and changed the settings a bit more to handle the rough started 8th in the feature was running up the top before fate have we hit the hole in turn 3 again, again the steering went heavy and the car went off struggle for a couple more laps before the rhr tyre went down, so a DNF for the feature back to the pits and found the RHF shock bent again and the gas had leaked out due to the damage so the shock would of being doing nothing. After surveying the car today have decided not to run the 20/20 at Gympie with Darren C, to much damage, not enough time and too much cost :( . next hit out maybe the 6th of december at the speedbowl but we will see how we go. Special thanks to Brooke Topp for his help last night.
