Afoke Oslo Priest letter to EEU. Afoke Oslo Priest February 29, 2012 An open letter to HIs Excellency DR EEU, the executive governor of delta state. Sir, Haven listened to your diaphanous and priestly oratory delivery in umeh supposed town hall meeting on friday d 24th feb 2012, it became crystal clear that both friends and foes indubitably had a serious vicarious thrlls of ur open governance. After ur fastidious explanation and laparoscopic examination of your DELTA BEYOND OIL, both ur serving lieutenants present and the public saw a different picture of the program you are painting. We salute ur courage sir......welldone. H.E sir, so many posts and comments had been made about ISOKO AME since last year till date. But most unfortunately, u havent responded to any of them, this has left an insipid soured taste of what the chinese called lap sang sou chong a smoke taste in our mouths. H.E sir, ISOKO AME consist of IYEDE AME, LAGOS IYEDE, ANYAMA, AWA, OBEH, IBREDE, ONOGBOKOR,IGBUKU, AKARAI ETITI AND EWHOKORAFOR. In all these villages, its only Iyede ame and Ibrede that are having glorified sec schools. No pipe borne water, hospital\healthcare of any kind, electricity and other physiological needs. My pple including children go all d way 2 kwale before getting anything near healthcare treatment. My cousin on his way to the town hall meetg at umeh, fell off an okada due to our hellish road and had been going all d way to kwale before getting treatment on his injured legs, he couldnt make it to umeh finally though and still passing thru the hellish road to kwale for treatment. [what a sin thing] Also sir, Iyede ame is having a ferryboat[pontoon] they singlehandedly built in 1980 after levying indigenes and was commissioned by the then governor of old Bendel state, prof Ambrose Alli. They have tried to run and maintain it ever since then until about 14yrs ago were they couldnt anymore. H.E sir, can u believe dat ferryboat has been hand pulled to and fro the Ase creek with vehicles, properties, people and farm products a number of times daily? [Another sin thing] Another raining season is coming, that means we can.t go home or transport farm produce cos of hellish road. H.E sir, am pleading with u to use your good office to find out the answers to this few questions. [1] There is a DTSG road construction project of constructing UMUTI, AKARAI ETITI, ONOGBOKOR, IYEDE AME road [section 11] CONSULTANT- NEWKOM ASSOCIATES, FRETHEL PLAZA, NO 1 ROBERT CRESCENT, KM 3 REFINERY RD, EFFURUN, DT\S. CONTRACTOR- CHARLINDIA MARINE NIG LTD, NO 4 OKUMAGBA AVENUE, WARRI. CLIENT- DESOPADEC, 19 SWAMP RD, WARRI. Some portion was graded about 2 yrs ago and the contractor has disappear since then. H.E, what happened to both the project and contractor? And when and where is [section 1]? [2] Sir, pls also confirm from DESOPADEC a certain cash of 100m for a said ferryboat for our area? There is a barge in our jetty as we speak, dat has been moored there now for over 5 months, with [Delta state ministry of transport written boldly on it]. WHY IS IT TIED THERE? WHO TIED IT THERE WITHOUT THE ENGINES? WHY IS NOT WORKING? Thanks HIS EXCELLENCY for your patience to read this rather lenthy piece. We of Isoko ame are strongly behind you in your DELTA BEYOND OIL program. This because we are loaded with agricultural products.....A trial will confuse you LONG LIVE ISOKO, LONG LIVE DELTA.
