Afrotainment, METRO FM and Amstel Lager have collaborated to bring Durban July enthusiasts an exclusive Marquee at this year’s event. Hosted by DJ Tira, expect a few of his celebrity and music industry friends to drop in. Last years marquee sold out a couple of days before the event started and this year is set to follow that trend. Metro FM who will be at the marquee broadcasting live and have appearances or performances by Phat Joe; Sphectacula & Naves; Naked DJ; DJ Nathi; Amon Mokoena and Lulu Café. Carol Raleseta show “The Divine Edge” will be broadcast from 12-3pm and DJ Sbu’s show “Sound Revival” from 3-6pm. The marquee is situated in the heart of the Durban July Marquee Village and has a star line-up for the day. Performances by Black Coffee; Donald, DJ Tira, Big Nuz, DJ Cndo, BHAR, Joocy and International Artist Chappell (Netherlands) performing his latest hit he did with DJ Fisherman. Earlier entertainment will also include a Jazz Band to ease the guests into the day’s festivities. Of course there will be a Fashion showcase by Fabrosandz, Zarth and DJ Cndo, Afrotainment’s Queen of the Decks, Euphoria Bag Range.
