After 10 years of performing and teaching all over Sweden Im becoming rather irritated with some of my so called teaching colleagues in social dancing! They dont take any further education, they dont develope themselves. They make money for old rope! They complain , they dont agree with whats happening on the floor and that what theyve been doing for 30 years is the way it still is. There are so many different styles in Bugg being taught! Foxtrot has been developed into a multitude of styles and variations, dirty fox, dynamik fox, to mention just 2 of them. Dancers that cant find a beat to save their lives are prancing around as though they own the social floor. Idiots in sweat bands and water bottles acting as though a social dancing evening is a session at the gymn. People have no floor craft and dont even follow the line of Dance! Dancers complaining the floor is to sticky so they throw down coffee powder so that they can have goodslide Others put rubber soles on so they have better grip! I wouldnt mind if they at least had Dance shoes on , but its mostly sneakers or outdoor shoes. People pushing other couples on the floor. Others dancing with their eyes closed so they can feel the passion. This is just some of the RUBBISH being done on the social Dance floor in Sweden today! It starts somewhere.. Normaly with the teachers ! Just needed to get that off my chest!
