After 12 years, I am leaving Hong Kong with: - 0 student loans (!) - 1 permanent resident status - 2 cats - 3 bird cages - 4 stringed instruments - 9 teapots - maybe 15 Cantonese phrases - the memory of visits to over 20 countries - 48 wigs (youre not surprised, are you?) - a bit of a dim sum/foot massage habit - a predilection for bubble tea - a real appreciation for thunderstorms - a karaoke repertoire that could rival the IB jukebox - a cult-like reverence for activities involving a paddle... ...Oh! And 1 fiancé! Got the whole wide world in front of us! Looks like were starting with California! So long, my Hong Kong! 再见!
