After 2 years and 4 days, the Brooksville Fire Department finally received our Ground Zero/WTC Artifact in the form of a 7 foot twisted steel beam. As the Bill of Lading indicates it if officially ours now. Next step is to design a 911 Memorial and get it built. Our Department may be small, but we are one of many in the Nation that will NEVER FORGET! We have to credit our local UPS Driver (pictured) with the success, as she spoke to the local UPS Center, who pushed it up the chain to Corporate, who pushed it down to UPS Freight and this piece of steel was delivered to the Fire Department at NO COST to the Department or the City!.
