After 2 years of searching for that sea song i came across in youtube 3-5 years ago, now i give up. That song made me cry the first time I heard it. I tried tracing the song using my old youtube accounts history but its not there. I visited hundreds and hundreds of post rock / ambient songs over the period but its not there. Wala na talaga. Dinelete na siguro or sinet as private na siguro nung composer. Its cruel. Then, this morning after continuing my search, i stumbled upon this. I know that this is not it, Im certain of that, but it felt just like that song. It too is a mix of bliss and sorrow, of eternal love and eternal loss, of being loss in oblivion and somehow being shined upon by the light of existence. The notes as well are flowing gently and beautifully as the gray-scale sea floats in every direction, and the waves come and go as they please, hugging the static shore in eternal sequence. This is the closest thing i could get from hearing it again. I merely believed this was it. Its sad im not that musical and I know I wont be able to replicate the notes of the original song - so i may do a search in Shazam. All i can remember is that it felt exactly like this song. I guess, until the programmers at youtube develop an algorithm that link songs each to each based on the songs soul, that song lives on this, for me, for now.
