After 3 months in their office, Dr. Ghani and Abdullah have yet not succeeded to appoint a single cabinet minister. They cannot agree on anything for God sake, the security gets worse day by day, no one is save to either work or live. I don’t know who is accountable for the huge losses and deaths that are occurring day by day. How many more are they waiting to be killed? Although they have shared the task of selecting potential ministers. On the other hand, the U.S. and NATO will officially conclude their 13-year combat mission at the end of this month, with troop numbers that peaked at 140,000 in 2010 cut to around 13,000 for a training and support role. But the Taliban still have remained a strong threat, you can judge the situation that the Taliban have carried out a string of high profile attacks in Kabul in recent weeks and have caused record casualties among the Afghan security forces this year, killing some more than 5,000 troops and police. Not only that, we have faced some mutual distrust with our neighboring countries as well. You both have agreed and said, “Whoever is chosen has to be accountable to the president, if there were some conflicts over the choice of the officials, the government just couldn’t function”. But today we hear words that has been already spread out from yours end with regards to the appointing of the cabinet ministers, who don’t deserve to be a clerk to the minister. I don’t know how long these waste political games will continue, and as a result, our innocent people taste the losses and pain.
