After 33 years and four months Jenny is retiring from this Looney Tune led school district. In her 20 years at Harllee and 13 as an administrator she’s touched thousands of lives and always put the welfare of the kids first. When our kids were 14, 11 and 8 she went back and got her Masters in a year and a half. No easy task while working and raising a family. She called it like she saw it as an administrator and at times that didn’t sit well with teachers but she made decisions based on what she thought was right for the kids. I’d rather work for someone that you knew where you stood, rather than a wishy washy person who wants to make everyone happy and can’t make decisions. Lord knows we have too many of those as it is. I love her dearly, have a huge amount of respect for what she’s done for kids and am excited that she is able to make this move. She’s about to start one long weekend. As she finishes her last day how about some Alice Cooper to take her out. School’s Out FOREVER. She won’t be back at all.
