After 5 1/2 months through my breast cancer journey, Johnnie and I were so anxious to resume the life that we retired to Hilton Head to enjoy. While there is no perfect, our life seemed so close to it, because we were enjoying life TOGETHER each & everyday. The beauty that surrounded us was the icing on the cake. WE just simply loved life and we always acknowledged our appreciation. One month post chemo, I was back on my bike :-), and we took to the beach. It was the first time I felt the wind blowing through my hair :-)! I had a little fuzz and it was an incredible feeling as the ocean breeze tickled my head. The wind on my face was an incredible feeling. Together, we felt like we were on our way UP and nothing could stop us. However, there was something on both our minds that could drop us to our knees, but for today, we would live like we were accustom to... We were living life to the fullest.
