After 50 years, a memory bubble has popped, recalling watching Captain Penny when he pushed a couple of items to kids. 1. Wagon Wheel pasta- to make kids like eating macaroni because it was shaped like wheels. Made by a company called IDEAL. 2. Captain used to advertise Bosco Chocolate Syrup. Hed make a glass of Chocolate Milk. Then I remember a new device came out which you would place over the glass after poured in the syrup, then push on it like a plunger and it would mix the milk and syrup with a couple of pushes. Not sure if he ever promoted the crazy straw.
