After 600 LONG miles, and 12 LONG hours, we arrived in Terre Haute for the night. Unfortunately, our hotel, booked (and paid for) through the Trip Advisor app was over full. No room at the Inn. They were happy to get us a room nearby, but because our reservation went through a 3rd party, we risked losing our money. After waiting on hold for 20 minutes with Expedia (Trip Advisors parent company) the hotel we were supposed to stay at decided to just buy us a room elsewhere. Hotel #2 is very nice, but it turns out it would have been cheaper to book with them directly. Moral of the story: read the reviews on Trip Advisor, then call the hotel directly.
