After 88 days, Patty Dunaway Wham and I are thrilled to announce that BJ is going home today! God has been so good to us and we give Him every bit of the praise! Thank you all for the incredible support and love you have shown us throughout! I know many of you are eager to meet BJ. We cant wait for you to meet him. We ask that visits to our home over the next week or so be limited to family only. BJ has alot to adjust to and so do we. We also ask that you remember that Patty and I are exhausted from this journey and need some time to recover. We promise to keep you updated with pictures and posts during this time of transition. Our heart is full today. We are thankful #1 to our God who is faithful and just to keep his promise and finish what he started. #2 our amazing family who has been so incredible #3 our church family. If there is one better I would have to see it. #4 our friends who we consider part of our family and have absolutely kept us going #5 The out of this world staff at MUSC. We never hold BJ without thinking about the amazing people who have seen this through. #6 CrossBridge Family Ministries, Inc. for being our home away from home and our family away from family #7 We remember those that we met along the way that will not be bringing their child home. Please remember Brian and Ashly Wenger whose son Zane, is fighting for his life. We thank God that BJ will not be the only Georgetown County baby coming home from MUSC. We ask that you also remember Jonathan and Emily White. They had triplets one week after BJ was born. Their son Jackson was in the bed across from BJ. He passed away over a month ago. We consider him BJs first buddy. Patty and I are glad to have the Whites as new friends , and we look forward to lots of play dates with their beautiful daughters Charlotte and Nora and are hopeful that they too will go home soon.
