After Brock Lesnar broke the streak I texted my friend to tell him the news. He thought it was stupid that a guy who is barely there and doesnt give a shit (his words) would be chosen to break the streak over a younger star. I wondered too and asked the question in another group, not exactly those words but I asked it. And somebody said something that made sense. Brock, you know what you get. The young guys? You dont know where guys like Wyatt and Reigns are going to be in the next 5 years or so. I also know that several major newspapers covered it, probably based on the fact that Brock is a former UFC champion. So what happened attracted mainstream media attention. That cant hurt. However Brock and the Undertaker feel about each other I now feel that the Undertaker knew what he was doing when he chose him. Undertaker has been wrestling about 30 years, he isnt dumb. And at almost 50 he wanted the streak over, even before last Sunday. He couldnt afford to hang on a couple more years when Wyatt or Reigns might have been ready and that would have been no guarantee. And he wanted Punk to break it huh? Gee, wheres Punk now?
