After Dr Jose Cha00000 coming out that he wont ever perform on any international artist concert, News coming in is that Navio has booked studio time with WizKid. Apparently there is a long list of Ugandan artists lining up to try and do a collaboration with the Nigerian superstar but Navio is the luckiest of them all. On television yesterday, WizKid was asked whether he minded doing a collaboration with any Ugandan, he said there has to be some conditions including liking the artist’s music. He was also asked about the recent scandal in Nigeria where he reportedly charged a musician a hefty amount of money to do a collaboration (10 million naira )with him. He agreed to charging the artist but said it was only 1/10th of what was reported. Navios latest hit Something About You is getting credit allover the continent. It should be noted that WizKid mentioned Navio as one of the few Ugandan musicians he knows. Recently Chameleone slummed international artists (non East African) who come and perform in the country but leave without doing any collaborations with any Ugandans. Chameleone himself did a collaboration with Beenie Man while Peter Miles has done with the likes of Elephant Man and Demarco. We pray it comes out the best
