After Mania III, the battle between Jake and Honky continued - TopicsExpress

After Mania III, the battle between Jake and Honky continued around the country at house shows. Jake was now a full fledged babyface. The heel HTM would be relentless in doing whatever he had to do to get back at Jake for Mania, so he hatched a plan involving a few wildcards at Saturday Nights Main event in May 87. On that night, Jake had a match with the Ugandan Giant Kamala with his handlers Mr. Fuji and Kim Chee lurking at ringside. After a hard fought match Jake was just about to slap the DDT on Kamala, when an abnormally bold Kim Chee jumped into the ring and stopped Jake, allowing Kamala to capitalize with a big slash and the 123. After the match Kim Chee revealed himself to actually be the Honky Tonk Man in disguise, and he continued the beat down on the unsuspecting Snake. He then topped it off with his Shake Rattle N Roll swinging neckbreaker. It was obvious that HTM refused to leave well enough alone, and the Jake/Honky war raged on. Couldnt find a video of the match that would post to the page, so here are alot of screenshots.
