After Nebuchadnezzar had been insane for 7 years, he raised his eyes and toward heaven and his reason returned to him and he blessed God. The he responded to God this way, "Now I, Nebuchadnezzar praise, exalt and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just, and He is able to humble those who walk in pride." ~Daniel 4:37 This is coming from a king who has spent the last 7 years living as an animal, eating the grass of the field and had lost his kingdom, When his time of chastisement was over, he truly realized who God is in all His sovereignty. May we, in the midst of seemingly difficult circumstances and situation, remember that God is sovereign and He has everything under His control.
