After Yolanda, Calbayog City was not affected by the winds nor by a storm surge ( THANKS BE TO GOD).. but we feel now how we are being affected: no electricity in the whole city, water interruptions, no tv, hold-ups, trauma, news black-out for more people who has no generators and cannot surf the net, gasoline shortage (agawan na sa mga gasoline stations),etc. In our hospital, most of our suppliers are from Tacloban... we are in dire need of fluids, oxygen and other emergency meds to support the growing need of the hospital due to the influx of people coming from the affected areas. But one thing sure, despite all these- we are still thankful our city was spared from Yolanda. Our sufferings now cannot be compared with theirs. They lost homes, loved ones, properties, work and so many more. We keep on praying and help in any way we can those who need our assistance. God bless us....
