Beltran could play during the rest of the season. Beltran is hitting .233 (94-403) with 15 home runs & 49 RBI in 109 games this season. New York Yankees designated RHP Chaz Roe for assignment. Roe appeared in 3 games for the Yankees, posting a 9.00 ERA in 2.0 innings pitched. Roe is 3-3 with a 3.66 ERA in 47 relief appearances in the Triple-A this season.
