After a day to gather my thoughts, here is how I feel about the Dodger game/season: Despite all the haters, I think it was a successful season, although obviously winning a World Series is the goal. We obviously have some things to fix starting with the bullpen. As far as the series with the cardinals, so many things just went the wrong way. Stupid things that shouldnt/usually dont happen, happened. Kershaw is undoubtedly the best pitcher on the planet yet he couldnt get it done when it counted. And of course its easy to blame Mattingly for everything, and certainly hes probably not the best manager out there, but you know what? Sometimes its just the players screwing up. Sometimes its a matter of inches, or questionable calls. Sometimes its not having quality players such as relief pitchers. So quit with the its the managers fault. Thats the easy thing to say, not always the smartest. So in conclusion, things couldve been better but we still did better than like 26 other teams. Cant wait till next year. #thinkblue
