After a full day of busy-ness, Noble is resting off and on. Moonlight Sonata is playing in the background. Lots of reaching towards things. Hes thought hes needed to get out of bed and walk out that door - or get out of bed and hang up the coats - or get out of bed and get the dog. I see a theme. His pastor came this afternoon and offered Holy Communion. When Brenda asked Dad if hed like to receive it, he began to recite the introduction. Once a preacher, always a preacher. :) She asked if hed like to sing a hymn. I thought hed fallen to sleep and just when I was about to awaken him, he began to sing Amazing Grace - three verses. He got all the words right. We recited the Lords Prayer. Got those right, too. It really was lovely. Hes joked with us today, tickled himself several times which made us laugh, too, but we havent had much of a clue what he was talking about - except for the dog references. There have been lots of those. He has been quite pleased to hold court with everyone. My brother is arriving in a few hours. Onward.
