After a great holiday in Ireland we arrived back at Stansted Airport and went to collect the car I had booked on line. The car hire comp BUDGRT, REPEAT BUDGET would not accept my debit card even though it had been booked using the same card. As they would not give me a car I then asks them to refund the money. They said they could olnly give me three days money which meant I would lose three days. An argument ensued and I said that there was not a Judge in the land who would agree with that and I disconnected the call. There wad another hire car outlet, Enterprise, next door so I weni there and they said they accepted debit cards.As they were dealing with me I received another phone call from the previous hire company and it was a manager who after speaking to me agreed to transfer the hire contract to Enterprise. The service I received from ENTERPRISE was in complete contrast to BUDGET, REPEAT BUDGET. Hope I spelled. BUDGET correct.
