After a grueling and hectic day at work I left the hospital, spirit nearly broken, mentally fatigued and just wanting my Starbucks and head home, I pulled up to the window at the drive thru Starbucks and what should happen? As I handed the cashier my debit card she said, the man in front of you just paid for everyone in line. Wow! What a humbling experience to be the recipient of a truly kind, selfless, humanity loving act! I wish I could thank him personally, however, that would probably take away the joy of his giving anonymously. I tried to pay it forward, but he had paid for everyone in line. If we all tried doing this, every now and then, with no thought for thanks, doing it without notice, what a better a place this world might be. Something to think about.
