After a long and destructive winter, a massive road repair effort in Doylestown Borough will begin next Monday, May 5 (weather permitting) with the a start of a pothole blitz. Armed with $45,000 in emergency pothole repair funds recently allocated by Borough Council, the Public Works Department will be out in full force throughout town performing permanent, hot patch repairs on major trouble spots. The pothole blitz is only the beginning and merely signals the opening of our most aggressive road paving effort since the 1990s with thirteen Borough streets on the schedule, and PennDot planning to repave Main Street.
