After a long hard push through the 2014 sockeye season this summer cutting and selling 70% of our production this year, Laura Lori Kilby my crewman Todd Blaisdell and I took a little break and went to Burning Man This movie clip shows how we spent our first three Coho periods off the Copper River delta in a hot and dusty dessert. As you will see the art projects are quite interesting and the folks attending quite colorful as well. The energy is at this event is built upon a gifting economy. This Black Rock city assembles every year for one week and needless to say, is quite an experience. Once started, it doesnt stop until 7 days later and once vacated, you can not tell there was 70,000 people there. Leave no trace is part of this event. Im thinking I will try it again and be better prepared.
