After a much needed break from Facebook, I felt I needed to share something and ask for prayers. The past 30 days have been brutal and this morning Patrick Logan will be having his annual cardiac appointment and we are asking for much needed prayers for this and other personal issues. As I was laying in bed this morning thinking and praying I kept thinking about the song I Will Praise You In This Storm by Casting Crowns. Everything I feel and our family is experiencing can pretty much be summed up in this song. I dare ask how much more, God? Because I dont believe in the saying God wont put more on you than you can handle. He wants to put more on you because he wants to you know. He didnt make you where you can handle it all. He made you where you lay your burdens down at the cross and give them to him. HE IS A FAITHFUL GOD! Although the past 30 days almost feel unbearable at times and I am not sure what the next 30 days hold I have seen God work time and time again and intervene like no one else could. As I opened up my devotional book this morning the first words read in BOLD letter are I AM A GOD WHO HEALS. Next it read, I heal broken bodies, broken minds, broken hearts, broken lives, and broken relationships. Isnt it amazing how God can send you a word that you need to hear at the perfect time!? Although part of me wants to keep silent and hidden and deal with this on my own, I dont feel that is what God is leading me to do. I want to be a testimony of Gods faithfulness. God has already done many miracles in my life and my familys life. Ive seen it time and again with Patrick. I cant thank God enough for everything hes done for him and I believe he will continue to do it. So in conclusion to this long post, I am asking for prayers this morning and thanking God for all he is done already in our lives. Thank you God for sending your son, Jesus, to die on the cross not only for our sins but also that we dont have to carry the burdens of this world on our shoulders. For your Grace is sufficient for thee..
