After almost 6 hours in the OR, my dad made it through his surgery. The location of the tumor (back side) and the different vascular structure of my dads kidney made things more complicated than anticipated. His main complaint after surgery was extreme pain in his right hip from being positioned on his right side for such a long period of time. Now we pray for a smooth recovery and a good pathology report. Thanks everyone for the prayers and thanks Dr. Justin Albani for doing such a good job taking care of my dad.
