After an article a few months back of a child in need of a kidney that I posted I have been doing research to find the process for altruistic transplants. I have all my medical data sent to my local center and have my first appointment next week with the transplant team to start the intake process to donate my kidney to someone in need. Long process with several hospital visits...so fingers crossed I am a viable transplant option for someone. And I will be a bit more sporadic in my posts with the medical testing for a bit...though on an upnote...6 weeks of recovery from transplant surgery will leave me with LOTS of time just to the page. ~Paul~
