After being approached and with much thought & discussion I have decided to run for KCBS BOD. Having retired from my previous career I am very familiar with the political arena, I have served on & headed various committees & boards such as the pension admin, rules & regulations, hiring process, acquisition & procurement, dealing extensively with the federal govt. & DOD All of which may not be related to BBQ however has given myself valuable lessons in working through bureaucracy and with others but more importantly knowing how to make the tough decisions that are for the betterment of the organization as a whole. In the coming weeks I will be posting various questions and concerns I have for others to comment on, I am looking forward to as much input & further discussion. When considering your votes I feel its important to vote for the candidate or candidates that you are familiar with and that support your views on the organization & supporting Only those candidates that have the same views.
