After being neglected by their district representative, Hon. Harold Dalson, for many years, the Zenon Empowerment Sports & Cultural Organization (in Zenon, Soufriere) decided to repair the deplorable road in the community of Zenon. This road has been damaged over the years, particularly, during the passage of Hurricane Tomas in 2010. Public transportation has refused service to that community because of the poor condition of the road. For many years, residents have suffered and are left to carry their groceries and other goods on their own to their homes. The effort by the organization and by large, the residents must be commended and praised. It is in times like these, when all hope is lost in a Government, that true community spirit shines through.
