After countless attempts of trying to get our teenage kids out the door on time for church this morning and them taking their sweet teenage time, my husband and I decided that we would not stress ourselves out and be late again soooooooo this is the text my husband and I sent them this morning.....looks like no rest for them today! Since you kids arent making church a priority, your dad and I want you both to sweep and mop floors, guest bathroom completely cleaned, stove and refrigerator cleaned, windows cleaned, dog poop picked up in the backyard, brush sides of pool and check chlorine chemical in pool and then after all of that is finished, you can finish packing up your room. Well be home between 2-3pm. We expect to come home to everything completely done. No excuses. Find the packaging tape, boxes are on the side of the house. Get it done. The Carters dont mess around. As for me and our household we will serve the Lord......and if you dont you dont get to rest on the sabbath. You think were too hard? Spare the rod, spoil the child. When your child gets to old for the Rod, you give em a broom stick and pool rod and put them to work. At least thats how we Carters roll! You think the kids will be late for church next Sunday?......
