After deciding not to follow Liz the machine Maidment or john ying yang Hanlon for twenty miles I trotted off on the lonely road to harlow alone at a nice slow pace. No interesting sights of factories or canals for me only cars and about a hundred cyclists and the only wildlife were dead pheasants, 2, and the remains of a road kill fox. At least I managed to run the whole way , better than last week when I tried to keep up with the machine and her sister who now that she has left us cannot be named and failed, completing the 20 miles in 3.18 eight minutes quicker than last week and my only worry was if the bottle I left behind a post on the way out to collect on my return had been weed on by a dog. Didnt smell funny so hopefully not.
