I am sad to say after 100+ years, the school is going to be closing. The School needs help from its Alumni, I have many Howe Military School Alumni friends on here and each one has their own opinions about Howe Military school. I respect everyones opinions. You do not have to donate a lot unless you wish too, just $1. It is not, like Kenny will say, the amount but the percentage of Alumni who donate l!!! I am just trying to help a school that I deeply care for. If anyone would like to help this is the time to do it! Maybe it wont be too late after all. From Kenny Williams which I agree with and have donated. To All- Col. Douglas met with the Board of Directors yesterday. He announced to us. The school WILL close next year. The Col. has promised that he and the Board of Trustees are aligned and are exhausting every avenue to prevent this. We NEED you as Alumni to call in, email a pledge, donate, donate, donate donate!!!! Let me reiterate.....ITs NOT THE AMOUNT!!!! Its the PERCENTAGE of Alumni who contribute that increases our chances to receive grants that are in the works. GIVE WHAT YOU CAN. $1.00 from every Alumnus will make a difference!!!! Its the PERCENTAGE OF ALUMNI THAT GIVES!!!! I URGE YOU TO MAKE THAT CALL OR EMAIL A PLEDGE. The TIMEFRAME WE ARE WORKING WITH IS LITERALLY A WEEK. Heres the number to call. (260) 562-2131.
